Витамин С — водорастворимый витамин, который находится в свежих фруктах и овощах, быстро разрушается при кулинарной обработке и не синтезируется в организме человека. Клинические проявления дефицита витамина С развиваются в течение трех месяцев после прекращения употребления в пищу содержащих его продуктов.</p><p>Сообщаем о двух случаях развития цинги у детей с нарушением пищевого поведения на фоне расстройств аутистического спектра с отказом от употребления свежих овощей и фруктов. Дети поступили в неврологическое отделение с жалобами на боли в ногах, вплоть до отказа ходить, геморрагическими высыпаниями, гингивитом. В связи с редкостью патологии у первого пациента длительный диагностический поиск был с большим количеством назначенных обследований. После установления диагноза на фоне терапии витамином С наблюдался быстрый регресс клинических проявлений.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Scurvy, or vitamin C deficiency, is currently an extremely rare condition. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin found in fresh fruits and vegetables. It is destroyed rapidly during cooking and is not synthesized in the human body. Clinical manifestations of vitamin C deficiency develop within three months of its insufficient intake. In this article, we report two cases of scurvy associated with eating disorders and a refusal to consume fresh fruits and vegetables in children with autism spectrum disorders. The children were admitted to a neurology department complaining of leg pain, including a refusal to walk, hemorrhagic rashes, and gingivitis. Due to the rarity of this condition, the first patient underwent a lengthy diagnostic investigation with numerous tests.
