Niso Jumaevna Odinaeva graduated with honours from the Faculty of Paediatrics at the Tajik State Medical University named after Abu Ali ibn Sino in 1987 (Lenin Scholarship recipient). She completed her clinical residency there in the specialty “Paediatrics”.

After finishing her residency in 1989, she entered postgraduate studies at the Research Institute of Paediatrics of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, where she studied and worked until 2014. During this period, she held positions including postgraduate student, doctoral candidate, researcher, senior researcher, and leading researcher in the department for premature infants.

From December 2015 to May 2017, she worked as deputy director for research and organisation of medical care for children at the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Moscow Region “Moscow Regional Research Clinical Institute named after M. F. Vladimirsky”.

In 1992, N. D. Odinaeva defended her Candidate’s dissertation, and in 2002 she defended her Doctoral dissertation.

Currently, N. D. Odinaeva is:

• Director of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Moscow Region “Research Clinical Institute of Childhood of the Moscow Region;
• Chief External Paediatrician of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow region;
• Chairperson of the Association of Paediatricians of the Moscow Region;
• Doctor of Medical Sciences;
• Honoured Healthcare Worker of the Russian Federation.

She holds the highest qualification category in the specialties “Paediatrics” and “Neonatology”.
